Making splits with supersedure cells

Making splits with supersedure cells. I checked on the splits with supersedure cells in them we did earlier this week. Four out of the six splits that we put supersedure cells into have emerged and have virgin queens in them. Two of them still have supersedure cells that will emerge in the next 24 hrs.

I also grafted queen cells 8 days ago and put six of those cells into Queen-less splits. These queen cells should emerge in the next 48 hours. This process will increase the number of hives in the apiary by 12 new hives in just a few weeks. This is how you raise bees and increase the number of hives.
